RICHARD OPIYO

Richard is a Certified SAP Functional Consultant with over 15 years’ experience in SAP ECC and S4HANA Implementation, Support, Training and Solution advisory.

His experience spans across Manufacturing, Banking and Utility industries in Kenya and Uganda.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Makerere University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Nairobi. He is a certified SAP MM, PP and SAP Cloud Pre-sales consultant with great passion for SAP Cloud Solutions.

Richard is a keen on SAP ERP Solution advisory, delivery, and training. He continues to be SAP Solutions student, ever learning to stay up to date with the ever-changing SAP solution offering especially on SAP Cloud environment.

As an SAP Practice Lead, Richard works with SAP presales team to provide discovery demonstrations, Client business requirement’s collection, Cloud Digital Discovery Assessment (DDA) and Solution advisory to Clients. 

Richard’s role at Mantra is to develop and grow SAP practice, grow demand for the ERP and related solutions in Uganda and in the region. 

He is also tasked to build Mantra’s vision to become regional center of excellence for SAP Solutions.

He is an automobile enthusiast and active member of the SAP Community Network.
